Our client in Leatherhead is seeking someone to assist the team manager in ensuring a consistently high standard of administration service to a portfolio of complex clients in relation to Schemes. The Principal Administrator will assist the team manager in managing the team and will be a source of technical expertise for their client group and have detailed knowledge of all client schemes (and be well acquainted with “key” client contacts and behaviours).
Responsibilities
• To be responsible for the annual renewals and monthly processing of allocated clients ensuring SLAs are met and timetables adhered to
• To be accountable for the quality of work and deliverables for their clients
• To organise, manage and support the Administrators to ensure agreed client SLAs are met and timetables adhered to
• To project manage major client tasks
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all documentation for allocated clients
• To ensure any changes to standard procedures are implemented consistently across their client allocation
• To follow Flexible benefits technical processes, procedures and controls including peer review and peer reviewing others work
• To maintain regular verbal communication with client contacts including attendance and contribution at client meetings
• To ensure all compliments and complaints received are recorded within the Treating Customer Fairly database and where responsible for client these managed through to satisfactory resolution
• To communicate and inform Team Manager of client status on a weekly basis and when a potential issue arises
• Identify additional revenue opportunities
• Responsible for ensuring Administrators are trained in their given roles and have a satisfactory induction into the unit
• Assist in providing training to Senior Administrators in their given roles
• To manage the development of and undertake performance planning for Administrators in line with the PfS process
• Responsibility for ensuring Administrators follow the PfS process cycle and have personal development plans in place and are reviewed
• Participate in inducting new employees within the team to ensure a satisfactory induction into the unit
Experience and Qualifications

Proven demonstrable flexible benefits and financial services experience at the required technical and behavioural competency level
Previous client facing experience, including attending client meetings Experience of managing performance, allocating activities and tasks and checking others’ work
Previous experience of training and coaching individuals within a team
Previous experience of managing projects and achieving deliverables involving both internal and external stakeholders
Previous experience of creating and manipulating data via Excel / Access
